PRESS RELEASE

Dear Tannkosh-crews and visitors,

with a heavy heart, we hereby want to inform you about the hardest decision we've ever had to make:
there will be no TANNKOSH next year, and we are not planning a continuation in the years to come.

We have discussed this at length, and it was a very hard decision indeed.

We will not be able to top the events of the past years- we have succeeded to realise everything that seemed possible and dreamable, and manageable-

and made many of our dreams and brainstorming ideas come to life -

but we have, as you know, also been lucky in all these years.

Therefore we have decided to preserve the „TANNKOSH LEGEND“ as a positive experience, and do not want to take the risk, with growing numbers of participants, for a serious accident to happen – because, if that were the case, we could not look back on decades of good memories, full of motivation, fun and great highlights...

we therefore hope for your understanding for this decision.

TANNKOSH has grown into an amazing event over the years -  this was only possible with the help and the unbelievable enthusiasm of all our participants.

Our heartfelt THANKS goes out to our TANNKOSH-Pilots and Crews: you have
supported us for more than 2 decades, have been with us in sunshine, wind and rain...you have been our motivation, and our inspiration. THANK YOU!

Many thanks also to our TANNKOSH-exhibitors, you have provided a colorful and informative supporting programme, and have enabled us to introduce many valued pilot services.

Our TANNKOSH FLYING DISPLAY pilots will also remain unforgotten: you have given joy and goosebumps to our visitors and our team, and you have brought to life many unforgettable highlights of our airshow.

We would also like to thank our authorities (RP Tübingen, DFS, BAF and Tower Company), who have stood by us over the years and enabled us to develop the  procedures necessary for the event to grow.

And last but by no means least, thanks to our beloved TEAM TANNKOSH!
You have truly lived our motto: "BY Pilots FOR Pilots".

We'll miss you all - and will fondly remember you, and all of the fun and excitement, the breathtaking moments we shared, and will never forget the awe-inspiring sight of the FLIGHTLINE during Tannkosh that all of you have contributed to...

THANKS, to ALL of you, for your faithfulness and loyalty over so many years.

You will stay in our hearts, and we're very grateful for all the wonderful friendships we've made over the years.

You have become our family, we have been looking forward to welcome you back every year, and we sincerely hope that you will continue to find your way to Tannheim in the future.

The legend of TANNKOSH will live on.
