Alpsee - the big Alpsee Lake
The Lake „Grosser Alpsee“ is Allgaeu´s tallest natural lake, embedded in grasslands and forests, hills and mountains. With a water expanse of 2,47 ha it is an Eldorado for water sports. A romantic round trip leads partly direct at the banks, partly high over the emerald-green shining lake.
The lake is situated west of Immenstadt, directly at the main road B 308.

Bannwaldsee
Owing to the ecological quality of the lake and his surroundings, the 560 ha large area was declared as natural park. The banks are seamed by swamplands, reed belts and idyllic pathways. However, beach areas and sunbathing lawns invite for water amusement.

Forggensee
The lake Forggensee is an artificial water reservoir, and with an expanse of 16,5 square kilometres and 30 km shore length it ranks four among bavaria´s largest lakes. From mid June till end of October the lake is completely piled up and forms a paradise for water sports. Sailing, surfing, rowing, canoeing, boating – on the water there´s space enough for all.

Grüntensee
The lake „Grüntensee“ near Oy-Mittelberg is an artificial water reservoir with about 100 ha water expanse. However, it suites naturally in the alpine upland. It provides lots of possibilities for water sports, for swimming and fishing. A marvellous trail leads around the lake for amblers.
